...More great news out of Mets camp. Duaner Sanchez is feeling great and asking for more opportunity to pitch. This proves that he is healthy and ready to go for 2008.
Sanchez was quoted as saying the following about being ready for opening day:
"I don't think - I know I'll be ready,"
Willie Randolph was quoted as saying:
“Is he on the borderline of not being able to break with us? Yeah, if he doesn’t start to pitch in succession and get his work done, then yeah, that’s going to become a real issue. But now let’s wait and see how he gets through the next couple of days and go from there.”
