...Jayson Stark reports that the Mets covet Marcus Thames. In exchange the Tigers are angling for Aaron Heilman. Heilman fanned three times as many as he walked last year. The 29 year old right hander is certainly a more attractive arm than others who had been linked to the Tigers but Stark doesn’t see the Mets moving him. The Mets initially had said that Jorge Sosa was the one they are looking to move.
