Pitchers Highlights:
- Johan Santana looked great pitching 6 scoreless innings. He had 7 strike outs, allowed 1 walk and only 5 hits. His spring training ERA is now 3.15
- Aaron Heilman looked great in relief pitching in his 2nd straight appearance for the first time this spring
- Duaner Sanchez, who had a lot to prove tonight, pitched a scoreless inning allowing only 1 hit. He said after the game that he will not pitch on consecutive days until next week
- Billy Wagner had a perfect 9th and looked amazing in his first consecutive appearance of the spring as well
- Jose Reyes looked great going 2-2 with a walk and an RBI. He is batting .319
- Jose Castillo followed Reyes' lead with 2 hits of his own
- Carlos Delgado played in his first game since last Sunday's shard incident. He had a hit and looked good at first base
- Off the bench, Fernando Tatis had 2 RBI on 1 hit
- Brady Clark had a hit as well, raising his spring training average to .318
Pedro Martinez will make his second Grapefruit League start on Friday, after shining in his first outing last week. He'll continue to work on his endurance in a 1:10 p.m. ET game against the Nationals, with relievers Matt Wise, Pedro Feliciano and Scott Schoeneweis also scheduled to pitch. Lefty Matt Chico will start for the Nats in place of John Patterson, who was cut from the roster on Thursday.
